Autofill extension

It fills the form. You press send.

The extension fills an internship application from the profile you built here. Use Apply to a batch on your queue and every role it opens fills itself, on any site, with nothing to click. If the link goes to the posting rather than the form, it follows the Apply button and fills what it finds there. Companies that make you create an account first (Workday, iCIMS, Oracle) show no form until you have signed up with them; do that once and press Fill in the extension. It never submits a form for you.

    Add it to Chrome

    Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension in the pop-up. Chrome keeps it updated for you. Pin it from the toolbar puzzle-piece so you can see the icon.

    Send your profile across

    Finish your profile, open the export step and press Send my profile to the extension. That is the whole step. It is stored in this browser only, and the extension makes no network requests of its own: this site hands the profile over and the extension listens. If the button says the extension is not installed, reload this page after installing it. By hand instead: download applicant.json and pick it in the extension’s Options.

    Apply from your queue

    Open your queue and use Apply to a batch: pick how many, and it opens that many roles and fills each one in. Read what it filled, complete anything it left, and submit each yourself. Mark a role Applied once you send it.

Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Rippling, Workable, SmartRecruiters, JazzHR and Breezy. Open the role from Apply to a batch and it is filled by the time you look at it. Read it, finish anything it left blank, submit it yourself.

For a company’s own careers page, press Allow filling on every site once, on the extension’s options page. It opens by itself the first time you install. The big job boards work without it; we ask separately rather than at install because “every site” is a lot to grant before you have used the thing once.

Workday, iCIMS, Taleo, Oracle and SuccessFactors. These show you no form until you have an account with that company, so there is nothing to fill yet and that is the company’s choice, not a fault in the extension. Create the account once, get to the application, then click the extension and press Fill.

  • These forms run over several pages. The extension fills the page you are on, so press Fill again on each step.
  • If the site offers its own Autofill with resume, skip it. It guesses from the PDF; internhunt uses the answers you confirmed. Pressing Fill afterwards replaces whatever it guessed.
  • Your browser’s own saved autofill is replaced too, so an old address or email will not survive.

It never submits, and never guesses a citizenship, work-authorization, or certification answer. Those are yours.

Your data stays on your machine. The extension makes no network requests and sends your profile nowhere.

Opening several tabs at once may trip Chrome’s pop-up blocker the first time. Click Allow pop-ups for this site once and it works after.
